Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Compliance and Title IX Coordinator, the Compliance Specialist: Title IX and Human Resources plays a pivotal role in ensuring the University's compliance with relevant employment laws, Title IX, regulations, and policies, with a specific focus on promoting fostering an inclusive and diverse campus community through training and outreach. The Compliance Specialist: Title IX and Human Resources will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, programs, and training initiatives to uphold the University's commitment to fairness, equity, and compliance with applicable laws and guidelines. The Specialist will maintain confidential student and employee files in the university’s databases and will serve as an intake expert regarding the university’s response to various reports of sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, and dating and domestic violence. The Specialist will develop and administer all climate surveys in relation to Title IX. The Specialist must be highly organized and efficient with the ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities; strong critical thinking skills; the ability to exercise good judgment and high levels of discretion/confidentiality; an intense focus on accuracy; excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
