Title: Assistant/Associate Director of Career Advising Pre-Professional Health

Position Summary
We are excited to welcome a new member to the SPDC team in a role dedicated to the growth and strategic development of pre-health support for students pursuing medical, dental, physician assistant, physical therapy, and other health-aligned graduate/professional school programs. Working collaboratively with the Director of Pre-Health Advising, this position will be a connector for students, assuring that they’re tracking toward their goals and working with pre-health resources throughout campus. The Assistant/Associate Director will be responsible for coordinating with current faculty and staff to create effective programming which will increase the number of students who are interested in pursuing health professions post-graduation. This support will include 1:1 student meetings, tracking student engagement, the creation of online resources, webinars, panels, workshops, and larger events. Additionally, this position will support students pursuing other graduate school programs, post-graduation.

Minimum Required Education and Experience
Master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience with the following relevant work experience: Preferred previous experience includes working with career services or academic advising in higher education, recruiting or human resources in industry.
