Position Summary

Seeking qualified nurses with an interest and passion for assisting pre-licensure nursing students in developing clinical competence and critical thinking skills in a variety of clinical learning environments.

Clinical instructors will facilitate and supervise up to 10 students per group in both the traditional and accelerated BSN students in obtaining nursing skills and nursing knowledge to provide nursing care in a variety of clinical settings.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required for this position. Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina and have at least two years of clinical experience. Candidates will also be expected to enroll in a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program within five years of hire to support continued professional growth and alignment with department goals.

Preferred Education and Experiences

MSN preferred or enrolled in a graduate nursing program.

Required Other Training, Certifications, or Licensing

Must hold an active state license as an RN in the state of North Carolina

Job Duties

  • Clinical instructors will facilitate and supervise 6-7 students per group in both the traditional and accelerated BSN students in obtaining nursing skills and nursing knowledge to provide nursing care in a variety of clinical settings.
