Position Summary

This position is responsible for all painting and pressure washing procedures of Elon University facilities.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience

Three to five years of related experience, preferred.

Required Other Training, Certifications, or Licensing

Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver License and be insurable by the college carrier.

Job Duties

• Possess ability to do all types of painting procedures, trim work and pressure washing. 
• Ability-to use the tools,-machines-and equipment of department. 
• Ensures compliance with all applicable safety regulations, building codes and safety requirements. Correct and proper usage of scaffolding, ladders, paint brushes, pressure washers, and any other tool or machinery used to perform the job. 
• Possess ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. 
• Knowledge of standard arithmetic computation to calculate and identify the proper procedures to perform jobs. 
• Removal of snow and debris from college properties. 
• Any other duties deemed necessary by Lead Paint, Director of Building Trades and/or Senior Director for Facilities Management.
