This position will manage internal operations for clinical education and be responsible for consistent communication with the program director, staff, students, and established clinical sites.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science in Nursing with at least two years of work experience required or an advanced degree (beyond a bachelor's degree)

Job Duties

• Clinical education site maintenance to include: ensuring contracts are up to date, double-checking site requirements, and creation and maintenance of comprehensive clinical education related documentation in the appropriate electronic databases. 
• Assist the program director in finding new clinical education sites and establishing new contracts as well as communicating with clinical education stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner and make clinical site visits as needed. 
• Oversee onboarding requirements (e.g., immunizations and CPR) for current and incoming students and clinical faculty. 
• Teach or coordinate the teaching of HIPAA, Clinical Performance Instruments, and Moodle or other EHR system training for students. 
• Monitor/summarize progress of clinical education site placements in a report for nursing program director as well as audit clinical site documentation to ensure compliance with program accreditation requirements and requests from clinical sites. 
• Designate a minimum of 8 hours per week each semester assisting in laboratory or facilitating clinical learning experiences. 
• Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.
