Title: Automotive Maintenance Assistant

Position Summary

This position is responsible for performing a variety of basic and technical tasks to help with shop operation and vehicle repairs. Move vehicles in and around shop. Shop maintenance including cleaning floors, trash removal, etc. Ordering parts as needed and inputting parts into Automotive Operations System. Answer phones as needed. Other duties as needed by the Automotive Services Manager.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED with minimum 1 year of experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic computer skills and able to communicate via email. Able to perform a variety of basic and technical tasks to help with shop operation and vehicle repairs.

 

Job Duties

  • Order parts Stock parts in designated location Enter parts into system
  • Cleaning -Shop maintenance including cleaning floors, trash removal, etc. -Shop organization including equipment, tools, supplies, and parts. -Maintain neat and tidy workspace
  • Answer phones and give messages to appropriate personnel
