Elon University located in Elon, North Carolina cordially invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor Position in Business Analytics. This is a tenure-track position in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business’ Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, starting in Fall 2025. This position will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in business analytics (e.g., data mining, data visualization, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and database management). Elon University espouses a teacher-scholar-mentor mission.

Candidates are required to have earned a doctorate in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Data Science and Information Technology, Operations Research, or a closely related discipline before the start date from an AACSB-accredited business school or have taught as a full-time faculty member at an AACSB-accredited business school for at least 18 months. Candidates are required to have completed coursework or teaching in areas central to management information systems, such as information management, artificial intelligence and machine learning, database management, and data visualization. Furthermore, the candidate must have successfully conducted academic research in areas related to information systems, decision support systems, data science, management science, or operations research, as evidenced by peer-reviewed conference presentations or publications.
